Quicksilver Privacy Policy
Quicksilver Private Transportation Services is committed to protecting your
privacy. This Privacy Policy lets you know what information we collect and
how it is used. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.
The Information We Collect
In order to operate our service, Quicksilver Private Transportation
Services ("Quicksilver" or "we") must ask you to provide us information
about yourself and your credit card. This information includes details
important to scheduling your ride (date and time of ride, pick-up or
drop-off address, number of passengers, contact information, and flight
information) as well as details needed to bill you for your ride (credit
card details and billing address).
We do not use cookies, log IP addresses, or record any other
personally-identifiable information that you do not type into our website
directly.
The Ways We Use Information
Your reservation information will be used to generate paper itineraries
that are given to Quicksilver drivers on the day of your ride. This
information will not include your credit card details.
Your credit card details (credit card number, type, and expiration date)
and billing address will be used solely to charge you for your ride. Your
credit card will be charged within 48 hours of your ride time. If you
cancel your reservation more than 48 hours in advance, a 20% cancellation
fee will be charged at the time of cancellation.
Your credit card details (credit card number, type, and expiration date)
are stored only until your payment is successfully processed for a completed
or cancelled ride. This will always be within 48 hours of your ride or
cancellation unless your card is not accepted; in this case, we will
contact you with the contact information you have provided to resolve the
issue. After your payment is successfully processed,
all of your credit card details are deleted completely from
our system.
Information pertaining to your ride, including your ride details, your
contact information, and your billing address, but excluding your
credit card information, is archived after your ride is complete or when
you cancel your ride. You can access this information at any time by
entering your confirmation number into the retrieve reservation dialog or
by calling us.
We will not disclose your information to any third parties or use it in
any way not described in this document.
How You Can Access or Update Your Information
You can use your ride confirmation number (a 5-character letter/number
combination) to access your ride details up to 48
hours before your ride time.
You can also use your confirmation number to access your ride details
after your ride time, up until your reservation is archived and is no longer
accessible by our website application. To view or modify your details
after that time, please contact us.
You can find your ride confirmation number on your receipt and itinerary,
and in the itinerary that was emailed to you at the time you made your
reservation.
You can change your information or cancel your reservation using our online
system up to 48 hours before your ride time. After that time, contact us to change your information or to ask us
to purge it from our system. We will be happy to help you.
Our Commitment to Data Security
To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the
appropriate use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical,
electronic, and managerial procedures reasonably designed to safeguard and
secure the information we collect online.
We use SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption to secure personal
identification. In addition, personnel who have access to our database are
trained to maintain and secure all information.
Notification of Changes
This policy may be revised over time as new features are added or as we
incorporate suggestions from our customers. If we are going to use or
disclose your personally identifiable information in a manner materially
different from that stated at the time we collected the information, you
will have a choice as to whether or not we use or disclose your information
in this new manner. Any material changes will be effective only after we
provide you by e-mail with at least 30 days' notice of the amended Privacy
Policy.
We will post the amended Privacy Policy prominently on our Web site so that
you can always review what information we gather, how we might use that
information, and whether we will disclose it to anyone. Please check our

version of our Privacy Policy.
Third-Party Sites
We may advertise third-party websites on our own website. These sites are
governed by their own privacy statements, and Quicksilver is not
responsible for their operations, including but not limited to their
information practices. Users submitting information to or through these
third party Web sites should review the privacy statement of these sites
before providing them with personally identifiable information.
Minors Under 18
Children are not eligible to use our service and we ask that minors (under
the age of 18) do not submit any personal information to us or use the
service.
